This was just so absolutely adorable. The Great Maple Mistake is Book #8 in the Love in Maplewood multi-author series that will have 10 standalone books and is released weekly. I loved this story, it was just the kind of fluff read that I needed. So let's get to it, Dislikes, Likes, and who I would recommend this story to.

Dislikes:
I am not sure why I went into this book thinking there was going to be a build up to some kind of traumatic event. But that was totally my fault. SO the count down on the chapters had me all in my anxiety lol. This story is all fluff so DO NOT be a me thinking and anticipating something terrible happening. There is nothing about this book I didn't like, it was a well written low angst, get all in your feelings with the inclusive town and characters kind of book. However if you are not a maple fan (I am, I live in Canada lol) you will have a hard time with the amount of times maple and maple allergies are mentioned throughout the story.

Likes:
One of my favourite things about this book, and this series in general, is the complete LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. It's nice to read stories where love is love and everyone agrees. Quite refreshing when reality doesn't always mimic those sentiments. This book has great representation in it, and I absolutely adore Alex and Cody. They are a very sweet couple who really take the time to understand each other, help each other through their insecurities and to support and bolster each other's confidence. A wonderful love story all around!

Who would I recommend this to:
Where are my low angst, fluff romance lovers at? Well this book is for you. If you're looking for a small town, festival, inclusive of all romance stories then you will absolutely love the Great Maple Mistake no doubt!

Happy reading!
