November Reads: Books To Be Read this Month

Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween!!! I spent my day watching horror movies so it was pretty productive!

Today we are going to discuss my TBR list for November. How have you been doing with your reads this fall? I am hoping to get in quite a few more books by the end of the year. Below are my list of reads for November.. I also have to finish Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa which I am about 66 pages in and Mortal Engines which I should be finished with the audiobook by the end of this post!

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman - First on my list! Can't Wait!

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)

A world with no hunger, no disease, no war, no misery. Humanity has conquered all those things, and has even conquered death. Now scythes are the only ones who can end life—and they are commanded to do so, in order to keep the size of the population under control.

Citra and Rowan are chosen to apprentice to a scythe—a role that neither wants. These teens must master the “art” of taking life, knowing that the consequence of failure could mean losing their own.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1) by
Ransom Riggs - Most likely by audiobook! I do own a copy of this book too.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1)

As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason.

Generation One (Lorien Legacies Reborn #1) by Pitacus Lore - Possible 2nd Read

Generation One (Lorien Legacies Reborn, #1)

To help these incredible and potentially dangerous individuals—and put the world at ease—the Garde have created an academy where they can train this new generation to control their powers and hopefully one day help mankind. But not everyone thinks that's the best use of their talents. And the teens may need to use their Legacies sooner than they ever imagined.
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson - On hold at my Local Library.. so whenever it gets in!

Sorcery of Thorns

All sorcerers are evil. Elisabeth has known that as long as she has known anything. Raised as a foundling in one of Austermeer’s Great Libraries, Elisabeth has grown up among the tools of sorcery—magical grimoires that whisper on shelves and rattle beneath iron chains. If provoked, they transform into grotesque monsters of ink and leather. She hopes to become a warden, charged with protecting the kingdom from their power.

Then an act of sabotage releases the library’s most dangerous grimoire. Elisabeth’s desperate intervention implicates her in the crime, and she is torn from her home to face justice in the capital. With no one to turn to but her sworn enemy, the sorcerer Nathaniel Thorn, and his mysterious demonic servant, she finds herself entangled in a centuries-old conspiracy. Not only could the Great Libraries go up in flames, but the world along with them.

Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys, Volume 8: Kenji's Song (20th Century Boys, #8)

As boys, Kenji and his friends came up with a bunch of stories about an evil organization bent on world destruction. As adults, someone is now turning their fantasies into reality. It is good story telling and you get to visually see the happenings in this world. I have been loving it so far!

But enough about me... what are you reading this November?? Let me know, recommend some of your favourites and most anticipated in the comments below!!
