Redeeming Bosley (Devil's Deal Duology Book 2) by Sammi Cee - Book Review

It's COMPLETE! Boy did I love the Devil's Deal Duology. It had the sweetness of Sammi Cee's usual Daddy books with the rugged darkness (albeit mild) of a mafia book. Redeeming Bosley is the 2nd book in this duology if you want to see my review for the first book 'Filling the Void' you can find it here. This book wrapped up a perfect older daddy book series with a lot of spice, interesting characters and some strong bad-boy with a good heart energy! So let's get to it, dislikes, likes, and who I would recommend this too.
Dislikes:
My only dislike is that it's over!!!!! It felt all too short and over too fast. But you do get a full story line with fleshed out characters and a glimpse into some of the characters you didn't get to fully know in the first book. I simply wanted MORE! We are getting more in a new series but that is going to be a while yet.
Likes:
What I loved about this whole series is how it showed the flaws and insecurities of both characters (daddy and boy, Bosley and Cory), and how they both help each other to overcome or accept them. In a lot of daddy books it is all about the daddy taking care of his boy, and don't get me wrong that happens here a lot, but it misses that connection on how the boy in return helps his daddy. It's part of why this trope is not my fav. But this one does show that, Cory helps Bosley to understand is worth and Bosley helps Cory to balance his day to day so he gets to enjoy his work and his life. It's the perfect combo and makes for a great couple.
I also absolutely loved the side characters! It has me so excited for the next series where I hope we get to see a few characters (even some we initially don't love so much) get their happy endings.
Who would I recommend to:
This book is for those who of course love the daddy/boy trope, but even if you don't if you are a fan of older main characters, seedy and shady characters, grey area love interests, and fun side characters with HEA and lots of spice this book is for you. Mafia lovers who like a more light touch to the seedy underbellies will love this duology as well!!
So tell me what you thought of this book or the whole duology below! Happy Reading!
