To Be Read Shelf and Currently Reading

So let's take some time out of our busy schedules to get to know each other. And what's the best way to do that?? Well let me know what's on your to be read shelf, what your currently reading, what you want to read next, and what you want to have read by the end of the year??!!

I'll start! Above you will see the horrifying thing that is my book shelf's TBR shelf and Dean Koontz shelf that also has TBR books on the side.... yes... After watching Holly Hearts Books video on you tube where she turned around all the unread books on her shelf (check it out here) I decided to take the plunge just for the sheer joy of turning that book around once it is completed!

But don't you fret here is a complete list of my current TBR list... which contains about 50 books you can check that list out at the bottom of this blog post!

My current reads right now are:

The Book of M by Peng Shepherd. Started reading the physical book and have since switched to audiobook which I am loving. The Book of M starts at a wedding of 2 loved ones.. during the night celebration the guests see the news and realize that people are losing their shadows... for good. With the loss of their shadows they also lose their memories and gain... well I'll let you find out for yourselves. This book is so detailed and has such strong character development that it can almost feel overwhelming but it has been a really good read so far!

20th Century Boys Volumes 5-7 by Naoki Urasawa. This Manga series got me hooked from day 1 of reading the series. The mystery, the characters, the awkward humor!! LOVE it all.. It is a Scifi Mystery that spans 2 different time frames of youth and then adulthood of our main characters. Strange things have been happening, terrorists plots are a foot and it all connects to a childhood story that our main characters made up.

Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa. I am only about 30 pages in so I can't give much detail. All of the titles link to their goodreads profile so you can find out more. It is a fantasy and deals with shape-shifting and dragons.. I am all for that!!

My Next Read:

My sister and I started a game to make sure we get to turning those books around so essentially she had to pick a number on my shelf between 1 and 50. The book ended up being Fragments which is book 2 of the Partial Sequence series and since it's been about 5 years since I've read the first book Partials I am going to be re-reading it and then jumping straight into fragments. It is a scifi dystopian novel dealing with AI.

and a read from my library Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson.
