My Year in review:
All in all I think I had a great reading year. My Goodreads goal was 30 books which I did complete literally on the 31st lol. I averaged 4.4 ratings which means I read a good amount of really good books as you can see above at least half were 5 stars for me.

I DNFd 4 books this year:
Partials and Fragments by Dan Wells, Eon Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman, and Rebel Heart by Moira Young. You can read more about my DNF books here and what I plan to do with that list this coming year.

Goodreads Reading Challenge:
I did complete my reading challenge this year (yay me!) lol I don't always finish them because life happens, as I am sure you know. This time I decided to push myself a bit more and read 40 books. What about you guys? Are you joining in the Goodreads challenge or any other reading challenges this year?? Let me know in the comments below!

Which brings me to... What I am currently reading and my plans for the rest of January:
I am currently reading:
  1. Levianthan Wakes by James S.A. Corey - This is for my Big Ass Book Reading Club. Join in if you'd like I have been loving their book selection so far and next month is The Red Night by Miles Cameron
  2. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Random Riggs - Started this in December but since I had 2 fairly big books to read this got put on the back burner so hope to finish soon.
  3. Tales of the Perilous Realm by J.R.R. Tolkien - Got this book in my December book Haul (blog to come) and since it's a short read I decided to add it into the mix.
I have started to read about 5 books a month (if time permits) this usually includes 3 books (1 audio) and 2 mangas. This month since there is a short read in the mix I hope to do 6. Not sure what audio I will pick up yet but I plan to continue with my 20th Century Boys series read so will be getting through at least 2 more volumes by end of January.

But what about you?? How was your 2019 year... and what plans do you have for January and going forward?? Chat with me below I'd love to hear about your year, challenges, and goals!!

Thanks so much for reading, until next time!
